Not if you say no- then they won't lance it. I figure they are working

for me.

I would get it looked at by *a* Dr. - western, TCM, naturopathic, eyc-

just someone who can diagnose what it is. It sounds like a cyst- but

you are talking about draining leading me to think it is liquid inside-

more of an abcess? Is it soft or hard inside? Sore or not? Specifically

what is it like? A photo is sometimes helpful too- not always.

I always want to know what it is first- that's not always possible for

sure but I still like to narrow the scope.

Make up some violet oil... This is what I would try. It is used in helping to dissolve lumps . Use a violet infused olive oil. Make that by taking fresh violet leaves filling up a jar and then filling it up again with organic olive oil and letting it sit for a minimum of 6 weeks. You need to make sure that for the first few days that you keep opening the jar and releasing the air and water in it and then adding a little more olive oil so that there is no air.

DH has a lump on his back that at first (this was YEARS ago) that looked like a blackhead that never came to a head. Well, now it is quite large. The circle lump is about 1 1/2" across! No kidding. So, he is now ready to "do something about it". Not sure where to start. (The medicos are just going to lance it open!) I would like to see it open and drain on its own. So, what do you think would be the best place to start? I am assuming "drawing" herbs or such, what would you reach for first? TIA!~

It started out as a blackhead. From there it has gotten larger and

larger. It is sore when bumped or hit. It feels hard inside. I can

wiggle the whole area around. ick! Besides that, there is no sign

of infection or anything. Just a lump with a center in it where the

blackhead sits.

We have no plans to have it lanced, just know that is what the mds

will have to offer us if we go in. :) You are right, they DO work

for us, even though they think they are gods.

Sounds like a boil to me. And, that mam is a real hard bump to get rid of for me because it's real deep (deeper than I want to go with a needle). The only way I've ever been able to get rid of them is with an egg membrane and a needle. If I'm lucky, I can hit the center (where the infection is) with a needle, sometimes not and all I get is blood. But, sometimes an egg membrane (sticky side down) left on over night or until dry and crinkly (that's what pulls) will pull the head to the top so you can see it.

It may be not so good and yall might fuss at me...but, when I have something like that or even a regular black head...I want it out, so I can see what it was. It disappoints me when one goes away on it's own. I feel like that mess just absorbed back into my body. I've had two boils in my lifetime and they ain't fun let me tell ya.

Have a good one and good luck in what ever you decide to do,

Angel

It is on the left side of his back If you go to the bottom of the

shoulder blade and go straight to the spine at the junction of the

spine (making an L figure) it would be just to the left of the spine

by one finger width and about one finger width above the " L " . I hope

that makes sense. lol! I just made him stand her so I could figure

out land marks. :)

Thanks . The reason I wanted to know its location is that when

near the spine, " roots " of such a " bump " whether it is a large abcess

or otherwise, can have an affect on the nerve that leads out from

that area of the spine. It can also affect the muscle which it is

pressing into, causing spinal alignment problems. There are some

very good suggestions posted here by others. I'm sure that you and

hubby have already begun your choice treatments. Don't overlook

applying wet, hot washcloths to draw the thing up to a head and relax

it from its " root. " (You will see that I'm a big believer in water

applications for healing.) Check for a spinal nerve and muscle chart

on line and look at the areas of the body that are governed under the

growth. This may give insight into other stuff. Heal on. - Dolly

This is where I would begin also- warm wet compresses. I might also

make a clay pack when it is more relaxed and open.
