Guest guest
All, Last night I was part of a group function at Kokkari Restaurant in San Francisco. I took time to talk to the chef beforehand and he let me know what items of the price fixe menu were safe and took time to make sure the foods I would eat were safe. In all, I had a great time, ate some tasty food and did not get sick! The food is mostly Greek, and all appetizers were out of the question. They provided me with a different beet salad which was very tasty and I could eat the lamb and the fish. I happen to be super sensitive so I made sure to ask about ingredients, dressings, cross contammination. They use mostly lemon juice and olive oil for a lot of things, so that would be fine. There are two grills, a mesquite grill and a gas grill. They seem to only cook meat on the mesquite grill, but they do cook pitas on the gas grill. I made sure to have my meat from the mesquite grill only and was fine. Best,
