Mature coconut water has 0.15 to 0.25% oil content. Maybe no one has done yet an

analysis of the components of this oil, we could not find the data in available

literatures in PCA library. Our factory is currently developing a method of

separating this small amount of oil, and will have this tested. Will give

feedback.

still doesn't give the lauric acid content, even for the oil. Unless someone

knows

which one it is- 16:1 undifferentiated?? etc.

Should we trust the USDA anyway? Ha!

Re: Bruce's latest book

I'd still like to see a breakdown of the coconut water. I've asked

some

who sell the stuff, and they indicate that there's not much lauric

acid in it, but none of them have said " none " .

Here's a place that sells young coconuts: " Coconut Water is Better

than processed baby milk- It contains lauric acid, which is present

in human mother's milk "

http://www.rawguru.com/store/raw-food/organic_wild_young_coconuts.html

That compilation, it says, was written by Kohler. Doing a search

for his name and coconuts it seems he's written some other things on

coconuts as well. Has a couple of " raw food " websites. Doesn't make

him an expert..but....
