Im so very sorry to hear that your husband passed away. My 54 yr old

brother died March 2003 due to liver cancer also. His particular cancer was

linked

to drinking. I miss him terribly. I do remember the diet the Drs put him on

was quite strict & limited, so Im assuming no pepper for him as well.

I myself am not afraid of using pepper, its the third most used seasoning

in the United States, falling in behind sugar and salt. I would think by now

if it was toxic to healthy livers, there would be warnings about it.
