An hour or so ago i got a hot plate from under the grill with oven

gloves, put it on the table, then absent mindedly and stupidly tried

to move it with bare hands. My husband and son laughed when i put vco

on straight away, as it was handy on the table and i'd read about

using it for burns etc. They told me just put it under cold water. I

can vouch that it works. There was no pain, nothing. I only

remembered about it some time later. Wouldn't this stuff be great if

you were shipwrecked on a desert island i thought. Listing the uses

in my head. Sun lotion, food, insect repellant, toothpaste etc. Then

it dawned on me there probably would be coconuts on the island anyway,

and the water from the coconuts would prevent dehydration. Isn't

nature incredible!! A survival kit in a nutshell.
