I just picked up a GF pizza and GF pasta. The owner was very accommodating and

was able to make my dish dairy free, too. My daughter was so thrilled to get

" pizza in a box " . The food was tasty. I'll definitely be going back!

Restorante Mataro also has the most amazing warm gluten free vegan brownies that

are not on the menu but are available if you ask. It was the most heavenly

gluten free dessert I have had. If you order it and can't eat dairy, make sure

to tell them no ice cream. But if you can eat it enjoy. My non gluten free

husband orders it too it is so good.

My wife and I went to Mataro a little while back and had a truly

wonderful dinner. The owner, Ibrahim, bent over backward to make sure

everything was indeed gluten free and that cross contamination wasn’t an

issue. The food was great and since it is a quaint little restaurant,

each member of the staff was aware of our gluten challenges. Based on how

thoughtful everyone was, Mataro has now become our first choice when eating

out. I do suggest calling in advance and letting Ibrahim know you are

coming…
