Guest guest
Hi everyone. I said that I would keep you posted about how I was doing, never thinking i'd have anything to say so soon. I am so excited, and thrilled that I had to post right away, also to give hope and encouragement to anyone who may be experiencing the weight gain as I did. Yesterday I dropped 5 lbs. and today another 4. So, I lost those 8 lbs that I had gained back plus 1.I think this is just great for me! I was thinking all along that the weight gain was coming because I started to use more of the Coconut oil, but, now i'm wondering if it could have been from eating seafood ( the sodium) which I did eat a day or so before I noticed my weight go up so much. I dont know. Or, maybe, a combination of different things which ive made some changes in. But, I am just so glad that I didnt just stop using it as I was going to. I did make a few changes and will continue to keep things this way, and thats only because I had you guys here to give me some advice. So, again I thank you all and I just wanted to share with you my good news for today and to let you all know that today I will be ordering another jar of Coconut Oil, from Tropical Traditions. I love it. Just to think that if I didnt have this group to come to I would have definitly stopped the Coconut oil and lost out on all those good benefits. Thanx guys. hope everyone has a great day. angela
Guest guest
Hi , Great news on your weight loss. Part of the reason I started using VCO was to lose weight. For about a month nothing happened. Then in February the weight started to fall off. So far, I am only doing 1 Tbs a day with soem skin application. It concerned me because it seemed to be too fast. My rate now is about a pound a week. I agree that initially it is water loss. To me a loss is a loss. After reading Dr. Fife's books, I have a long term perspective. My question for Alobar is did you have trouble with loose skin? I have heard of people losing hundreds of pounds, and then having an operation to take care of the loose skin. I have to lose more than you did, and the skin issue concerns me, Thanks for your response. Mike
Guest guest
I have some loose skin. But not a great deal as I lost under 100 pounds. I would not get surgery even if I could afford it. I do not trust that doctors look at long term consequences. The skin is just as much a valuable organ as liver or kidneys. I am not sexy looking at my age for a number of reasons, so why pretend I am a movie star? The whey is helping me regain some of my muscle mass, so I am hoping the loose skin will diminish as I put on some muscle.
