Guest guest
Now if they will make them accurate.... As in colas, I'd like to know if it's sugar or corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup - say which. Same thing for chips, et al, say which oil is being used, not a group. As in bacon, indicate the right amount of sodium. As in corn syrup don't leave off the fact that all of it is HFCS. The old corn syrup is gone, I think. I got a bottle of Karo dark, called them and they said all is HFCS. You can tell by the sweetness. And let's drop the "partially hydrogenated" and say what it is, (as if it's a mix). For example, say hydrogenated soy bean oil. Quit saying 2.5 servings when you know people will eat the whole can after they pour off the fluid. And say how much is corn syrup and how much is HFCS, if they are actually mixing the two. Surely they have some idea. And quit using HFCS to sweeten every dam product out there. Guest guest
I don't know if it's part of the same bill, but they will also be including more specific labeling regarding trans-fats (one of my personal concerns). ... zero tolerance.... Hopefully they will move off the bogus serving size conceit to make caloric content appear lower than it really is....just list the total calories in the container and let us do the math.
