Guest guest
Tony: Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this phenomenom. Very sensible and straightforward and possibly true but I had never thought of the Circulation aspect of this weird experience. I was thinking that it was more a cellular problem of which I know nothing. I have Metabolis Acidosis (whatever the heck that is), Th1 Inflammatory Disease and some old viruses from past illnesses, the VCO could affect any one of them and since I don't know what any of that means, I can't begin to understand it. Hopefully Duncan could shed some light on the WHY. Thanks again Tony, Bonnie Re: VCO and Hypertension - Engineering Opinion Bonnie: I had hoped a medical professional in this list would give at least an opinion about your question. Maybe there is really none who can give yet. I will give an engineering opinion and just see for yourself if there is any relevance to your situation. Two of my customers gave similar feedback about a year ago. One is in stage 4 breast cancer, when she took the oil, 2 tbsp in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, her blood pressure rose, she immediately stopped it and never tried again, per doctor's advise. The other one was hypertensive, when he took the oil, he felt his hearbeat increased, felt uneasy, sweat more easily, and suspected his blood pressure increased. He became scared and stopped taking the oil. His felt condition was then restored. I think the human circulatory system has significant similarity to the water supply pipeline in a water-intensive factory. Over time scales (from dissolved salts and mineral in the water) adhere to pipewalls, but does not cause any problems until it reaches a certain critical level. At this level, the system could no longer function normally under stretched situations, like when a machine would need more water, the system could no longer handle it unless a booster pump is installed thus increasing the pressure of the lines. When the human circulatory system is already significantly constricted (a condition that probably require already chemical medicines to be regularly added into the blood to ease the constriction) the ability of the system to remain normal while handling stretched situations is significantly diminished. So when it is necessary to increase blood flow, even just a little increase, like what probably happens during increased metabolism that can be triggered by taking VCO, the system could no longer do it without creating an abnormally high blood pressure. Partially-clogged water pipelines can often be fully cleared of the constrictions by controlled addition of de-scaling chemicals into the circulating water to gradually dissolve the scales. Much care is taken to avoid over-dosing else the scales might fall off in big pieces and cause total clogging of the lines, making the clearing operation impossible anymore. I think it takes small and continuing action over a long time to really clear or reduce constrictions in the human circulatory system. The medium-chain fatty acid of VCO seems to be capable of this based on physical science (medium-chain fats dissolve long-chain fats), biological science (quick energy supply to cellular metabolism) and many testimonies. My personal experience: until about 2 years ago my blood pressure was quite predictable at 120/80. Since regularly taking VCO, my blood pressure has dropped to 110/70. Despite advancing age (I am 46), I think my circulatory system is more free-flowing now, it does not need a higher pressure to circulate the blood. I have spent 16 months now, desperately trying to incorporate VCO into my life and didn't make the connection with my slowly rising blood pressure and ingesting this oil. I wanted so bad to improve my health. I seem to be able to have just 1 tsp. early in the day but that's about it. I just decided a few weeks ago, that I was going to have the FULL DOSE, then had to lower it to 2 tbsp. and then to 1 tbsp. and so on. Two days ago I forgot and dumped a wonderful salad dressing on a large salad without even caring about how much VCO was in it. It was delicious. About 5 hours later I started feeling weird, tense and with a bad taste in my mouth. I felt that way for about 40 hours and had my blood pressure checked and it was sky-high. I thought I might just be wired from die-off or whatever you call it, but didn't think it would affect my pressure. I don't understand it. I had none yesterday and none today and about the middle of the afternoon, the feeling just lifted and my pressure went back to normal. That really ticks me off. Guest guest
Bonnie, both malnutrition and toxin load are physical stressors that will cause high blood pressure. You may have a degree of malabsorption because of your bowel complaint, and you also have toxin load because of that same complaint. Your acidosis is a physical stressor and so is your Th1 inflammatory process. Coconut oil is a metabolic increaser; when you seek to increase metabolism the growth bid generates more stressors and also increases demand for nutrients and water. In your case you can't take the undenatured whey and selenium, which is the precursor for glutathione, the master anti-toxin antioxidant. Perhaps you'll drop some symptoms if you take a program of cystine and selenium in lieu of the whey and selenium.
