Guest guest
Alobar, Consumerlab has reviewed several HGH soundalikes that do not increase HGH so they could not have done any actual analysis of HGH release in humans in response to the dosing for their article. Their credibility went out the window as soon as they included categorical non-producers in a product review. One for example is a homeopathic, while another contains real growth hormone, which is absolutely known to not work orally. I've treated this subject on my page titled Straight Goods on HGH: http://members.shaw.ca/SomaLife-gHP/Straight_goods_on_HGH.html or http://tinyurl.com/68sskj In around 1998-2000 Dr. Meyers was on the team that bothered to DO the analysis Consumerlab did not. Of 100 HGH-soundalikes he found that NONE produced the 30 ng/ml of HGH increase needed to spur regeneration; the non-producers included homeopathics and oral HGH. BUT some honest HGH products contain arginine and other amino acids that have been shown to work; companies using these avoid infringing SomaLife's patent by adding something other than amino acids, such as tribulus terrestris which is a terstosterone increaser, as Neugenisis does, or b-vitamins as Tower does. Again, amino acid purity is important and again, most companies do not provide it. To answer your direct question on Neugenesis, I only had to look at the label. http://www.neugenisis.com/prod122.aspx# The amino acids that increase HGH release appear as arginine, 500mg; lysine 250 mg; glutamine 500 mg; ornithine 100 mg; glycine 50 mg. Total 1400 mg. SomaLife gHP ingredients are here: http://www.somalife-ghp.com/science.html As you will note the HGH-increasing ingredients in SomaLife gHP are arginine 1302 mg; lysine 1302 mg; ornithine 798 mg; glutamine 250 mg; glycine 500 mg. Total 4152 mg. How well does it compare? SomaLife gHP delivers 3 times the amount of HGH releasers ...yet SomaLife has used the purest amino acids at the lowest dose that will deliver effectiveness. The devil is in the details. 'Nuff said! Duncan > > A while ago, my friend Ambros sent me an e-mail. Guest guest
Been reading the emails and I must say Duncan you seem know your stuff! I'm till not convinced I need it, but I am still reading, listening and researching, esp. enjoying all your input and will check out the sites. Guest guest
Thanks Duncan, I'll pass that on to Ambros. It looks like only those with sufficient amounts of discretionary cash will be able to boost their HGH levels when they are old My hope is that enough well-to-do old folks will want their HGH levels increased that price may come down significantly because there will be a greater demand for the pure aminos and their cost will decrease because of decreased manufacturing costs. If I live long enough for the cost to significantly drop, I'll certainly want to hop on the Somalife bandwagon. Guest guest
Duncan, Alobar's friend said it costs over $1,000 for a 6-months' supply of SomaLife. Is this correct? Wouldn't it be $85 x 6 = $510? What is the shipping cost per bottle? Any taxes?  SteveD > Alobar, Consumerlab has reviewed several HGH soundalikes that do not > increase HGH so they could not have done any actual analysis of HGH > release in humans in response to the dosing for their article. Guest guest
Metanoiagal, indeed I know this work. In reference to your comment about " needing " to maintain HGH growth hormone, the pronounced quality of life increase people get out of the therapy in advancing years has been ratified by research, but I think the best anti-aging is possible if one starts in their 30's because their HGH release is already about 20% less that what they released at 22. At 35-40 one releases about twice the HGH than they do at 75. Put another way, by the time they hit 75 they have accumulated as much as about 70% more unnecessary damage if untreated from age 35 than treated. The aging plateau created by maintaining a 22-year-old's HGH release from age 35-40 means being able to repair enough to keep abreast of that damage, which an untreated person is not able to do. That's with a good diet; with a poor diet, well put it this way, every carbohydrate-rich meal, starch or sugar snack or soda that increases insulin levels, reduces HGH output and immune system activity, yet some people do it several times a day (which eventually puts them into metabolic syndrome). Guest guest
SteveD, 6 months of Somalife gHP costs $510. The friend might be considering buying it at retail but I wouldn't, and I know that very few people go that route. You may have to pay a state tax in the US. Guest guest
Would being in Canada add to the cost? I'll tell Ambros about possibility of being a distributor. Probably still too much for him, but that's for him to decide. Alobar On 10/24/08, Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: > SteveD, 6 months of Somalife gHP costs $510. Guest guest
Alobar, the cost is the same in Canada now. The wholesaler buyer price is the same as the distributor price and you don't buy a distributor kit or have your own " downline " to help support your own use. Guest guest
Duncan, To compare, I have a bottle of hydrolyzed collagen protein made by Twinlab. The label says " contains predigested whey protein, a source of high quality amino acids with B-complex vitamins. " In addition to a host of other amino acids here is the content of those aminos that can be compared to your SomaLife for one serving (2TBS): L-arginin 1390 mg; L-lysine 770 mg; L-glutamic acid 1950 mg, glycine 4055 mg. Cost was $10.29 for 16oz. The one thing it apparently doesn't have, however, or ornithine. For those interested there's a good description of ornithine and what it does here: http://www.vitaminstuff.com/amino-acid-ornithine.html Dee > > > > > . > > >snip< > > > SomaLife gHP ingredients are here: > > > http://www.somalife-ghp.com/science.html > > > > > > As you will note the HGH-increasing ingredients in SomaLife gHP > are > > > arginine 1302 mg; lysine 1302 mg; ornithine 798 mg; glutamine 250 > mg; > > > glycine 500 mg.
