Guest guest
What I have understood about Atkins health, was that he had congenital heart problems all his life, from a very young age on, and that he believed his diet prolonged his life. Guest guest
Actually there are. And there are skinny people who die young. My mother-in-law (just one example of several I could cite) was fat most of her adult life, lived to be almost 94. Not in good shape but nevertheless 94 is a respectable age to live to and way beyond the norm. The Pope is an example of a rotund old man - I believe he's in his mid 80's also beyond the norm for a man. Although of course his health is fragile. on 2/10/2004 10:36 AM, Mullins at mullinsk@... wrote: > As my father says, ³There are no old fat people². Guest guest
Hi All, However, slipping on ice when Atkins had the purported gross swelling reported by his wife sounds untenable.
