which is why there's too much emphasis on weight and BMI's. If you want to

look thinner, then lose weight. OTOH, if you want long life and good

health, count calories, and stop focusing on weight.

Nicely said. Lower weight and BMI tend to go hand-in-glove with CR, but

they are associated phenomena, not the mechanism itself.
