Guest guest
Alan, I think you're right, because there may be another advantage to fish, in that the aspirin and plavix have side effects. I don't like either one, although aspirin bothers me the least. I also don't think I can eat fish every day. How many cans of sardines do I need per week, in your opinion? Guest guest
Hi Jw: As to fish, I eat about 100g most days (not that that means anything). It is important to eat a variety of fish. People can have allergic reactions if they repeatedly eat the same fish (it happened to me once). For reference, I read somewhere that the world's most prolific fish eaters, the japanese, eat on average ~200g per day. That seems to be enough to fix any heart problems they might otherwise have had. Rodney. On the subject of flexitarians, I guess the overwhelming majority of the world's population qualifies for that designation. --- In , " jwwright " <jwwright@e...> wrote: > Alan, I think you're right, because there may be another advantage to fish, in that the aspirin and plavix have side effects. Guest guest
Hi Jw: You might want to check out the Physicians Health Study regarding fish oil capsules. My recollection is that they studied this carefully and found no benefit (nor harm). So I have tentatively concluded that the benefit from fish is not in the fat they contain.
