I never used that oil. The puritans pride site does not show the

nutritional breakdown on the label. I like to see the nutritional

info before I buy any coconut oil.

These days I buy Nutiva from Vitacost. Price is $21.79 for 54

ounces, plus shipping. Vitacost show the nutrition info here:

http://www.vitacost.com/Nutiva-Organic-Extra-Virgin-Coconut-Oil#IngredientFacts

Better prices for other good oils are available if one buys a 5 gallon

pail of oil, but I do not have the free cash to spend that much all at

once these days.

Yeah my last purchase was a larger one finally. Up until then, I , like

Alobar, had been using Nutiva. Sometimes Amazon runs buy 1 get one specials

on it, so it helps to search for that too....

I was blessed to find somebody local that orders 12 buckets all at once and

then sells it off to family and friends. Shipping is added in a bit to my

portion, but its still a lot cheaper than buying a bucket online myself,

PLUS I have the freedom to pay cash for it, which I like. Has taken me 3

years or so to find somebody local though that is doing this

I use this one and like it.

http://www.puritan.com/nutritional-oils-068/extra-virgin-coconut-oil-013182

To me, the taste, color, texture and smell are no different from

Nutiva. But I was wondering about the quality myself and thinking to

use other brands in the future.

On the bottle the ingredients are listed as Coconut oil.

In the description section it states that it is Extra Virgin and

organically grown, but does not mention how it is processed - just

that you receive only pure unrefined coconut oil. Right now I use it

on the skin and use the Nutiva for ingestion. Puritan has a buy one

get two free starting around May which is best time to buy, otherwise

go to puritansale.com.

Vitacost and Amazon have the best prices for Nutiva.

Jarrows has an organic extra virgin CO on vitacost as well, that many

people like.
