Guest guest
I, like you, used to take lots of supps. And experimented with many that made astounding claims. But I never felt any better for it and decided that my diet was probably the best thing I had going for me. So I stopped. Since I rarely get sick I think that my decision was sound and my good health speak for itself. Now I just take melatonin (mostly for sleep) and have recently added (for the winter months only) a low cod liver oil dose. And I think I'll add the low dose aspirin because it's been proven to prevent so many chronic ailments, as outlined by Chis Dowling in this message: /message/10174 (and also Parkinson's disease). After my nightime leg cramps episode I added some " E " but don't expect to take it long term. In fact I can't be sure it's due to a shortage of " E " , and suspect it's not. If you know you're prone by heredity to certain illnesses, e.g. heart disease, then I'd say take the low dose aspirin and anything else PROVEN to ameliorate that condition. Otherwise you're probably wasting your money and it's literally being peed down the toilet. Just my opinion FWIW. The supplement industry is big business. on 2/24/2004 12:36 PM, Shanna at slk2295@... wrote: > My question is whether you (anyone/everyone here) would share your > personal decision re: supps.
