Guest guest
Prior to CRON, I ate whatever my impules directed me to eat...but was limited by what I kept in the house. I'm wondering if a better way might be to write down the day before what I plan to eat the next day to insure that I meet my nutritional and CRON objectives more accurately and consistently. Guest guest
Bernie: keep only wholesome foods around. Most of us eat in similar " patterns " daily - keeps things easy once we establish what we should be eating/what we like/what's convenient etc. i.e for lunch I always have a large salad (perhaps varying the ingredients to get as many different veggies into it as possible) and vary the protein - sometimes canned salmon, sometimes chicken etc. Almost every night I have a fruit salad snack - also varying the ingredients somewhat. I eat a small handful of nuts daily as a snack. If you noticed, Rodney relies on his " soup " (for which he was kind enough to post the recipe) . And other CRONIES depend on their favorite ways to get as many veggies, and to a lesser extent fruits, as possible. on 3/16/2004 12:26 PM, bernadettepawlik at bernadettepawlik@... wrote: > Prior to CRON, I ate whatever my impules directed me to eat...but was > limited by what I kept in the house. > > I'm wondering if a better way might be to write down the day before > what I plan to eat the next day to insure that I meet my nutritional > and CRON objectives more accurately and consistently. > > What do others do? >
Guest guest
I have a fairly monotonous plan for diet, with big salads, fruit smoothies, fresh veggies, fruit, some fish (mostly herring) that varies a bit from day to day but over the course of 2 months tends to get a wide variety of veggies, fruits, protein sources, etc. into my diet. I don't try to meet all my nutritional needs in any one 24 hour period; I aim to get optimal nutrition over the course of several days. I also take a broad spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement to help ensure I'm not missing anything. >From: " bernadettepawlik " <bernadettepawlik@...> >Reply- > >Subject: [ ] Meal Pre-planning >Date: Tue, 16 Mar 2004 17:26:01 -0000 > >Prior to CRON, I ate whatever my impules directed me to eat...but was >limited by what I kept in the house. > >I'm wondering if a better way might be to write down the day before >what I plan to eat the next day to insure that I meet my nutritional >and CRON objectives more accurately and consistently. > >What do others do? >
