Guest guest
Hi Just saw a cookery programme of low fat desserts and there was one I'm sure I've seen on this site before...bananas cut in chunks and frozen then put in blender with vanilla and soy milk or rice milk took about two minutes to whip up--couldn't refreeze though
Guest guest
Just read the ingredients list of the ice cream and base the buying decision on that. Ice cream is not bad for a B if the ingredients are OK. Most ice cream like so many other products are made with corn syrup and corn products are probably even worse for a B then an O. > I know that we O's can't have dairy, but why can't a B have ice cream? Is it something added to the commercial products, so that homemade ice cream might be o.k.? > Gretchen
Guest guest
Hi ya'll, Sorry some of you can't eat ice-cream. I don't know what I'd do without it. I'm still hungry after dinner, so I eat a dish of ice-cream with a little rootbeer poured on it. That makes it sort of icy & it tastes great! I don't have any problem with it coming back up & it's probably the only reason I don't lose weight even though I have A. Mo

Guest guest
WildernessFamilyNaturals suggests using coconut mil to make icecream. " Coconut milk can be churned in an ice cream maker to make ice cream. As a matter of fact, Bruce Fife is working on a new cookbook with loads of recipes in it using all types of coconut products. Coconut milk makes wonderful ice cream. " Alobar On 8/1/07, <gordonkellyc@...> wrote: > Can you make ice cream out of C oil or C cream? Guest guest
I have to agree with you. Not everyone can tolerate ice cream, but I love the stuff. My wonderful husband actually gave me a milk shake mixer one Christmas and I thanked him endlessly! It’s funny how something a small gift can make you so happy. He made me shakes whenever I needed one, which hasn’t been many lately. in SF From: achalasia [mailto:achalasia ] On Behalf Of derrondoucette2001 Sent: Friday, May 02, 2008 4:21 AM achalasia Subject: Ice Cream Since my A has gotten a little worse. Guest guest
Hi, Deb here from Australia - just to let you know that i survived the past eight years on ice cream and soup. It works a treat! My surgeon even said that if i ever got into trouble eating to stick to ice cream as it was nutitious and filling - just a little cold in the middle of winter. When i was travelling around Europe two years ago, i always switched to ice cream if the old oesophagus started playing up. I managed to survive the trip that way whereas we had to come home early because my husband picked up gastro!!! Deb Ice Cream Since my A has gotten a little worse. Guest guest
Ice cream and yogurt are all I ate for four months before my esophagectomy! It also put the pounds on me! Dr. Rice yelled at me last October and said to lose the weight before he would do the esophagectomy. So I just did all yogurt, non-fat. Guest guest
Ice cream is my staple food too, and I eat it every day. I make sure to eat it from a small cup so that I don't overendulge. It makes my life more enjoyable, and I consider it a blessed gift from God. Peace2U. - JQ Ice Cream Since my A has gotten a little worse.
