What is my body telling me?

I think I understand our moderator a little better, but I still think

that she was and is naive in a Jimmy Cricket sort of way. Just as our

conscience is corrupted by our mistakes and culture, so the signals our

body gives us are corrupted by the filter we use to understand these

signals. With a corrupted filter, no real communication can exist. But

here, it is hoped our greater knowledge gives us a better filter! I

think that was the original idea of the original post.

but rather then being theoretical, we might discuss what happened to me

yesterday.

I have been limiting carbos for months with good results. I can't really

say I am " doing Atkins " as I eat too many veggies. Yesterday My wife and

I went to an Indian Buffet. I ate a larger amount than what I was used

to (but less in quality and Gylemic load than before). I had 1/2 cup

rice and 1/2 slice bread. Previously in such a buffet I would have had

at least 4 times of this type of Carbos. So I had a large serving of

Okra medley and Eggplant medley and spinach medley, A lamb curry dish,

and chicken Tandoori, and then rice pudding. When I went home I was

overcome with sleepiness and slept for two hours.

So my question is what was my body telling me?

1. I am not getting enough sleep at night?

2. Indian food is bad for me.

3. An influx of carbos that my body was not used to caused sleepiness.

4. I ate too much.

5. A carbo lite approach leads to problems

6. Next time no rice or bread at all and no rice pudding.

7 A " warrior " Diet may not work for me.

So what is my body telling me?
