Guest guest
i am wondering why " jeanette " sent out information that is not particularly pertinent to the topic of this list?? i prefer not to receive information such as this on this mailing list. i subscribe to this list to receive messages about hepC, not computer viruses. thanks .... dags

Guest guest
Dear : I would also suggest that, if it has not been done recently, having your potassium level checked. I know my wife's ran either very low normal, or just below normal. She now takes potassum, and it has helped some. Its a place to start. Guest guest
Re; Doc??? Tylenol I hear so many different beliefs about the amount of tylenol a chronic liver diseaser can take. One doctor told e no more than 2000mg a week and recently due to some oral surgery they wanted to keep me below 1000mg a day. I am high risk surgery with platelets averaging about 77,000 over three years. I ended up not taking any tylenol, because one dentist didn't want take the risk. Luckily I hav high pain thresh hold and it never got bad enough to take any. After the surgery they did give me vicodin which I never took. Guest guest
I did find a card reader on EBay, haven't received it yet. I put in language master for the search, card reader brings up credit card readers. It's the only one I've ever seen, though. It started out at a dollar, because they said they couldn't test it. I'm hoping that's because they didn't have any magnetic cards. I ended up paying $33 with shipping, so if it's broke, I can still afford to fix it. Eiki also has card readers, here's their site: http://www.eiki.com/usa/index.htm They have 3 different units. The one I'm getting is not by Eiki, and I tried to get Bell & Howell but couldn't find card readers at their site. I'll have to see when it comes in. Guest guest
Joan, this is a great site! Loriann, was it you who said you found the card readers on e-bay? And is that what you just call them? Card readers? I remember seeing these things around- don't know if anyone still uses them in our district. I don't recall if they were more used by SLP's or for reading programs. But I can imagine Ben would love to pass the cards through. Hhmm. Thanks for the tip. This site is really cool. MB >>I found a card reader and some ways the slps use them at this URL: http://www.superduperinc.com/ click on " alphabetical index " then click on " r " go to rhyming audio cards... j

I'd forgotten that the deal was that Marc Gold had people with severe disbilities building bicycles instead of the " bagging nuts and bolts " in a sheltered workshop. He also had one on one staff who were trained in these techniques directly by him. I had no idea that he had circulated his work in Great Britain as well. I think that your comment about an attitude change is what I was getting at. (Just re-evaluating what I have and haven't been doing with or expecting from Ben.) I loved hearing about 's and 's proficiency with the microwave. You all are inspiring me! And , so glad you found a new psych. How do you LIKE her? How was she with Matt? And terrific new changes since he's been off the ritalin. Good luck as you evaluate all the differences. We're still trying to figure out if the low dose of Risperdal is having much of an effect, so we're playing around with the timing of the clonidine to rule out the clonidine's influence. Anyway, good news is great! MB
Guest guest
MB: Andy loves the card reader....or did last year. They haven't been too creative with it at school, thus it has lost it's lustre for a while. But from pushing the cards through to administer the spelling test to his friends, he learned how to run his lunch money card (it's like a debit card) through that machine, and my debit card through the machine at the store. *I* would say it's a handy little skill! You could use it to teach words...kids like to listen to words over and over....practicing....thinking.... Some perseverative activities have a purpose, believe it or not. j
Guest guest
I found your interview with Lloyd very interesting. His website was one of the first I came across when I was first diagnosed with hep c. Currently, I am waiting to be approved by Shering Plough for Rebetron. I don't have insurance and can get the script free through an indegent program. I really don't want to go on the Rebetron. I'm afraid of what it will do. I've suffered with clinical depression for many years of my life and I'm concerned about Rebetron's sides.I'm 40 years old, divorced, with 3 kids and haven't been working much at all lately. If I go on the Rebetron, I'm afraid I won't be able to work at all. anyway.... I think it makes much more sense to cleanse and rebuild your body with herbs than to put more chemicals in it. I too had wondered what proof Mr. had. It sounds like his success rate is far better than Rebetron. I would love to be able to try it and skip the Rebetron. If you know of anything that might help, please let me know.' Thank you so much for your e-mails. I spend a lot of time in front of this computer lately and it's nice to be able to talk to someone who understands. Guest guest
...thanks for that explanation...Lori If one is PCR negative, time to relapse is generally longer, because the treatment has been very successful at wiping out the cancerous cells. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
