This one shows a HUGE 44% reduction in mortality for those drinking alcohol daily in comparison with abstainers. Note also that the benefits are not restricted to heart disease. Does anyone know of any other addition to the diet that can have a more profound impact than this? (Apart from the 80% reduction '60 year old' fruit flies enjoy from CR - without the 'ON'. CR, of course, is a 'subtraction from the diet'!)
