Guest guest
Hello Everyone: This Raw Red Palm Oil is a powerhouse of nutrition containing Sterols, Tocopherols, Tocotrienols, CO-Q10, Carotenes and much more. For this reason, it is important if we can incorporate them in our diets. I have a 'nasty tasting one' from Tropical Traditions but was able to use up a gallon by stir-frying some things that masked the flavour. Also cooking Salmon in the oven with 1/2 salted butter and 1/2 Red Palm Oil was quite good. I went and bought another gallon (groan) but once that is used up I'm not getting anymore from TT. See contact information below. I had samples sent to me from Wilderness Family and although it tasted good, it was NOT Natural Red Palm Oil but a Fractionated oil, where the bad taste was removed and all that was left was an oil VERY SIMILAR to Olive Oil, very Monounsaturated. Jungle Products (which I've also tasted) has a DELICIOUS product made on small family farms from the Dura Palm Trees so it has a totally different taste. They also have Coconut Oil. Their website is http://www.junglepi.com/index.html Their email is contact@... Give it a try. Bonnie
