If I want to see more than an abstract from PubMed, what is the best, most cost effective way, to view the publication --------------- Ashton, in addition to the answer that I posted, there is another good way to obtain the full text of an article that you see abstracted on Medline (PubMed). Authors of scientific publications like to share their work with others. The abstract sometimes contains the primary author's e-mail address. If you e-mail the primary author and request the full text article, the author is usually more than happy to oblige. The author will usually be able to send you the article by e-mail, and if not, the author typically has reprints that they are happy to send to you. rjb112@... bob bessen
