Guest guest
Dear Sev Sorry for the delay in replying.. Cacao nibs are the edible part of the cocoa bean after it has been harvested, dried, fermented and hulled. I am looking for samples to begin with say around 2 kilos.we are based in Thailand so I need to make sure we can import without problems. Their uses are many we are conducting tests on super foods with our latest wellness program and the Cacao nibs are renowned for their antioxidant flavonoids. Also incredibly rich source of magnesium and other essential minerals like calcium, zinc, iron, copper, sulfur and potassium as well as the wonderful luxury of real chocolate.. Wishing you a joyous day and thank you so much for helping Deborah _____ From: Coconut Oil [mailto:Coconut Oil ] On Behalf Of Severino Magat Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2008 5:07 PM Coconut Oil Subject: Re: cacao nibs Hi ! Guest guest
Dear Deborah, Sorry just read your post...we presently export cacao nibs from the Philippines to the US. Actually this is not a product of our company but we consolidate this for our big VCO buyer from the US together with other organic products from the Philippines such as Yacon syrup, coconut sweetener, power, chips and organic fresh coconut milk. I will be glad to refer you to the cacao producers from Mindanao and maybe you can communicate directly. In the meantime, i can send you the samples. please email me your mailing address. Thanks, Tess
Guest guest
Hi Tess, I apologize for not calling you when i was in the Philippines. I always had you in mind and really wanted to get to your plant in Quezon. I was in San Pablo but on and off only. What is Yacon Syrup? Is this a coconut product also? Do you really export organic coconut milk? How do you keep it from spoiling when the milk really easily spoils? Do you export matamis na bao with langka? That is yummy -- folks this is coconut jam with jackfruit. Reason i ask is i bought one here in Austin, and it does not taste like our coconut jam at all though made in RP. Guest guest
I'm SUCH an idiot: THIS one is Arriba--the finest variety is Criollo...DUH. cacao nibs Do cacao nibs need to be soaked before using them? It's the only thing I've put in a smoothie that didn't get really "smooth." And how do you all use them, other than in smoothies? Many thanks - _
