I'd make a cool compress with the following essential oils in small bowel of water 3 drops organic Chamomile, german (Matricaria chamomilla) 3 drops organic or wild grown Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) This will soothe and reduce most skin irritation's and rashes quite effectively- lovely oils I would never be without. What sort of bump is it on your chin, btw? Perhaps there is another approach that will work better without causing irritation to your skin. Whole Life Essentials. I guess it’s a pimple that never came to a head? It’s white, very tiny and wasn’t red at all until I used the BWH. It’s been there for years. A tiny hair grows in the middle that I pluck out. It’s hardly visible but I just wanted to see if the BWH would pull it out and experience the process before I recommended it to others with bigger bumps J

After the irritation is eliminated- if you can make a compress with Cham. german and Lavender that will really help- you could then try an essential oils blend of Lemon, Cypress and Tea Tree essential oils- use only organic. You can apply a drop with a qtip directly to the spot or make it a compress the same way as I mentioned. I'd probably do this first and continue for several weeks. They are all good first aid oils to have on hand anyway and all inexpensive- just make sure they are fresh and organic. I'd stop the plucking for a while too while treating as you would not want further irritation. I might even alternate between the two eo blends for a while. Cham. german/ Lavender and the Lemon/ Cypress/ Tea Tree. A Black Bloodroot Salve may be helpful depending on the nature of this thing. Strong stuff though. It sounds so tiny by your description it may be difficult to treat the bump (a mole or wart of some sort with a hair follicle growing through it?) only without getting the skin around it upset. Here is a link to a Black Salve if you should want to go that route. It's a nice one but it may cause some irritation also. http://www.internatural.com/ingr/ingr321117.cfm Whole Life Essentials. Guest guest
..<<<It may have been some sort of congestion but it disappeared using Helichrysum>>> That’s what this is. My skin otherwise is fine and have used the same products for months. I do consume all the things you mentioned except the MSM and always drink plenty of water. The one hair that grows in it is very fine and I’ve been pulling it out with no problem for years. I just wanted to see how BWH worked. I really wish I’d left it alone. Thanks for hanging in there with me. I have jojoba oil and 9% tea tree oil. Would that help until I get the items you suggested? I’ll be stopping by your shop today and we can talk some more!!! Guest guest
I'm thinking a cyst too . They can be quite large underthe surface of the skin. Janet ----- Original Message ----- From: DrCrandall health Sent: Sunday, May 09, 2004 2:16 PM Subject: RE: Black Walnut Hall <<<Hmm...I think knowing first what the bump is, is most important.>>>> Well, let me tell ya, I wish I’d left it alone. Although I’m glad to find out that BWH can be very irritating to the skin. From the following, it looks like it’s a papule or a cyst. Before the BWH it was very small and almost skin tone, hardly noticeable. But, it looks like there’s a lot of stuff under the skin and the BWH is pulling it up and now it’s a half inch in diameter, red, swollen, and bumpy, yech!! I’ll try what you’ve suggested short of the black salve, for now. Thanks so much for the info. If the inflammation is right near the surface, you get a pustule; if it's deeper, a papule (pimple); deeper still and it's a cyst. If the oil breaks though to the surface, the result is a " whitehead." If the oil becomes oxidized (that is, acted on by oxygen in the air), the oil changes from white to black, and the result is a "blackhead." Amazing what can be hiding in these dang bodies of ours J I’m just glad it’s on the chin and not the nose LOL!! I’ve already learned that BWH is not the best choice for this type of thing. This should be an interesting learning experience. I’ll be the resident ‘white bump’ expert!!!!
