Guest guest
OTOH, Rodney, a lot of people don't read the stupid papers. 90% is ads and garbage, and disposal of the paper is a nuisance. Just giving you the flipside. But it is also a sobering reminder of how deeply entrenched the country's health problems are. What is the total circulation of the Washington Post? There is a front page article saying there is enough serious evidence that CR can greatly improve health and lifespan for the NIH to start a test in three major cities to study it.Yet only a couple of hundred people are interested enough to even take a look????? That is shocking, unless we see a couple of hundred thousand more new members before the end of the week.Seriously.Rodney.
Guest guest
Three thoughts... 1) It really is very sad in the sense that most of us (in USA) hurt our health with diet, and for many reasons (good, bad, whatever) do not pursue actions to improve health. 2) perhaps some will pursue Dr. Walford's book to read, rather than pursuing an internet group. 3) Not everyone has time for the internet. Personally, I am at work all day, do not have access to play with internet at work, get home late. Leftover time is very short ... & really, internet time is outside scope of essential (laundry, grocery/errands, taking care of children/parents, exercise, cleaning, car repairs, bill paying, on & on). There are plenty of essential things that fall to the wayside because I LOVE to read email from this group. Other people may be more disciplined about focusing on true essentials, or other activities that improve their QOL.
