Guest guest
Welcome to the group! if I were 24 again, I wouldn't worry about any occasional strong cravings. After all, you're pretty young to give up all the delicious things in life. Absolutely you can eat some extra calories on the days you work out. That said we don't advocate strenuous workouts ( like running marathons for example) as it doesn't really do much for health beyond enough to keep fit. In fact there's a theory that overexercising produces free radicals and premature aging. I (who am much older than you) do moderate exercising, lift some weights and am trying to fit some yoga into my schedule (as I recently posted). There are many in the group who exercise much more than that because they love it and it feels good. You'll probably hear from them. Quality of life (enjoyment) counts too. on 5/4/2004 2:59 PM, glorydaze21 at twood04@... wrote: > Hi I just signed up to this group after reading the Post article. > Good stuff!
