Please be generous and volunteer to HELP

We have an excellent handful of people who help me run the group. We need

more . This is a very easy but necessary job . Please volunteer to keep this an interesting, high quality group that we can all enjoy.

Most of the time there's nothing to do. The only moderation is of newbies (to discourage spammers and other troublemakers) and a handful of people who have been disruptive in the past. Even so, I do 99% of it and will only call upon you in an emergency.

Moderators occasionally also discuss any issues on the table and we try to come to a consensus about how to deal with them. This is enjoyable and worthwhile.

Ideally moderators should:

1. Have been with us for at least a few months

2. Have the freedom to check in with the group regularly

3. Should understand our philosophy and what we're about.

If you have gained something from and enjoy this board, please

be giving and generous and volunteer. You will not be called upon very often, but we need to know there's enough backup standing by so that things continue to run smoothly. This very occasional job is easy, fun, and worthwhile and saves the board from spammers, whackos and self-promoters.
