Peg: thanks. (I'm blushing). I'm just as human as anyone. In fact it

took me years after I first read Walford to actually go on CRON. I bemoan

those wasted years.

Right; I recall when I started CR in 2001 some CRONies were talking

about the problem of holiday/family gatherings due to the need to

avoid eating much at such events. But I've been able to occasionally

indulge in large meals and afterwards I don't get hungry for a long

time and thus can fast for up to 24 hours rather comfortably. I

never notice any weight increase and thereby assume net calories

remain stable. Based on these experiences it seems to me that it

does not make any sense to eat less at special events.
