Guest guest
I am thinking about eby too. You risk it not working  Read the sellers terms. Do they offer money back w/n a reasonable time after receiving? At least 7 days. We got an oscilloscope our 1st buy for our son. It works. Understand you can test electric, but have to calculate. Guest guest
If the seller has 100% positive feedback, it might be okay... also if there is a photo showing the current condition of the meter. I buy stuff on eBay all the time, but it is rather " hit and miss " with regard to you receiving what you were expecting to receive! Guest guest
Hallo Loni, it is not wise to buy a meter from e-bay. Especially for a person who does not know about meters, frequencies, fields etc. One has to knwo what to measure, and how it should be done. I you want ot measure megnatical AC fields for instance, most meters are 1D. Then you must measure the X-axis, the Y-axis, and the Z-axis. Those values must be raised to a higher power. And then added togehter. Out of this addition you must extract the root in order to find the exact magnetical field strength. Of course there are 3D Tesla or Gauss meters, but they do cost more. It is best to buy from a shop, where they have several different meters, and where they can ezxplain to you the advanatges and disadvantages of several meters. I you just buy a meter, you may make grave mistakes, because you do not know what you are measuring. and what the limits of your meter are. Guest guest
Hallo ! Â I was looking at the TES 593 on Ebay. It is a 8GZ RF Meter. Â I'd love to go to a shop that has meters but don't know that one exists here where I live? Â Loni From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Meters on Ebay? Guest guest
Hello Loni, they claim a lot, but I wonder if they fulfill what you want. I have a test report of the TES92, so you can see what quality they make, and what you can expect. Because I cannot attach files in this list, I send it to you. Guest guest
Hi !  So do you think this one is similar. I guess it's made by the same company.  What do you use to measure RF including cell antennas, cordless phones, wifi, wireless alarm systems, baby monitors etc? Loni From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Meters on Ebay? Guest guest
I have a meter that I bought from lessemf.com http://www.lessemf.com/rf.html Mine is similar to the 3 axis RF. It works for everything up to 3Ghz. You need to calibrate it, but it's really sensitive. They have other ones too, some less expensive and that also go up to 8 Ghz. > > From: Marc <marc@...> > Subject: Re: Meters on Ebay? > > Date: Friday, September 23, 2011, 10:26 AM > >
