Guest guest
Are there meters that will measure for frequencies, Shivani? From: SArjuna@... They are not required to do so. You can easily do it yourself. You will need a gaussmeter. You will get magnetic fields wherever current is flowing. The " safe " level is not known, and probably varies from person to person. We recommend 2.5 mG limit for prolonged exposure. " However, ES symptoms are caused by frequency, not by field strength. Some frequencies are actually more biologically active at very low field strengths. A Gauss meter will only tell you the strength of 50 and 60 Hertz magnetic fields. It will not meter the frequencies that cause ES symptoms. Shivani Arjuna www.LifeEnergies.com
Guest guest
However.........this opinion is not supported by everyone on this group. Guest guest
Sure. But Shivani is partly right. A real good Gauss- or Tesla meter will measure also in a frequency band outside the 50/60 Hz. I find disturbing frequencies from 0.1 Hz up to 30 MHz, mostly between 3 MHz end 15 MHz. And I fully agree with Shivani, the field strength is not so important for electrosensitives. Also, today I visited an electrosensitive, who is strongly harrassed by very tiny weak signals. AC gaussmeters can measure a wide variety of frequencies, depending on the model. Emil
