Off this topic, but I really need to find something to help me cope with the

smart meters and I went back over the products you had mentioned and I am

interested in trying the earth Calm products. I don't remember if you found that

they helped or not, or made it worse?

It depends on who you ask... :-)

Gilligan Joy has a website for overcoming electrical sensitivity, and he

swore by the Earthcalm stuff.

Me? I find the Earthcalm stuff rather overpowering, so it becomes

difficult to judge its effectiveness when you can't tolerate wearing

" the solution " . :-)

I do actually use the plug-in Earthcalm units at both my workplace and

at home these days (in addition to everything else!), but I have them on

timers, so they are only active about 30% of the time.

Have you tried any stuff from Quantum Products for the Smart Meters? I

agree that there seems to be electronics that no device seems to help

with -- I've had zero success with finding a solution that makes a Blu-

ray player acceptable...(although perhaps there is a good Blu-ray

player out there... somewhere)

MPG like they say it does and see if i feel any different.

Although at this point I'm ready to just jump into something for home use and

try it. Can't decide between the 2 though.

I could feel an obvious difference with the Quantum Auto Clear back

when I was much more sensitive, but these days I can't really tell

that it's doing anything (that is probably to be expected). Also,

my car's gas mileage is nothing out of the ordinary...

Well, of course there are lots of products on the market -- we've

seen a few folks notice a little improvement from the Q-Link pendants,

and I've had luck with several different things -- Quantum Products,

Earthcalm, Springlife Polarizers, Personal Polarizers (cutcat.com),

Mega-Chi pendant, etc.

I guess I'll just have to try something and see how it goes. I'm thinking of

starting with the Earthcalm Home System and then the pendant.

Hi, Steve,

 

I have the Quantum Pro (my house with the basement is slightly over 2000sq ft

and the Quantum Home works for under either 1200 or 1500sq ft, I forget

which).  You have to get the proper size for your house or it will not work

correctly, especially if you need to have the dial maxed out.  Anyway, I

love my Q Pro; it works well for me.  

 

Marc will tell you the same: the Quantums work for some people; the Earthcalms

work for some people.  Nobody does the same on these gadgets.  I do think

there is a learning curve plus detox reactions, with the Quantums, that you

have to get thru; and I am not sure to what extent people give up on them before

they reach the end-goal.  You cannot buy this product and be satisfied with the

results the very next day after you get it; it is, infact, likely to take 4 to 6

weeks to know whether you like this product.  But when I bought mine, it had a

60 day return policy.  (I don't know whether that is the same now or not.)  I

also liked that I could call the company and ask copious questions, which I

did.  I ordered over the phone and the rep, Marji, was very helpful even when

I made multiple calls back. 

 

Remember when you get it home you need to go slowly; it caused me massive

brain fog and utter clumsiness.  I tried finding the optimum setting for me the

first day I received the QPro and found it in about 60 to 90 minutes of

playing around with the settings.  However, I didn't follow the instructions to

leave it there only an hour or less and then turn it off.  (You can either

increase the time you use it or increase the setting, over a month or so, to

accustom your body to the frequency it puts out.)   Due to the brain-fog and

clumsiness it caused, I cut my hand severely and required surgery.  So don't

be dumb like me and try to go too quickly.  Follow the directions if you get

one, okay?  Don't let this scare you away from the Quantums, tho. They are

completely safe if you use them as the company tells you too.

Hi Diane,

Thanks for the info. I am leaning towards trying the earth calm as there are no

settings to mess with, its a little less money and a 90 day return policy which

gives an extra 30 days to determine if it works or not.

If I end up with the Quantum i will do what you said.

I actually like having settings... allows you to find a level that is

workable for you. Like I said, due to the lack of settings on the

Earthcalm Home, I had to buy a timer to turn it on/off throughout

the day.

I have a $29 quantum. Don't feel much from it but I have my fridge plugged into

it and it seems to calm the noises a little.I have the software as well and dont

notice much, thats why I'm leaning to trying the earthcalm (90 day return policy

is good too)

The $22 copper thing seems interesting, did it help you at all?

Ahh, well if you do notice a little something from $29 quantum

(and you're sure it's not your imagination!), then it's possible

you'll notice a lot more from the more expensive ones. Of course,

an alternate way to do this is just order more of the $29 ones

and spread them throughout the house.

According to quantum the outlet device is more to calm the appliance plugged

into it than a whole house affect.

I hadn't heard of that other device until you mentioned it. I guess I can give

it a shot for that low price.

Yes, but since it does something to the electricity going into that

appliance, it also has some impact on the electricity throughout

the rest of the house. Regardless of what the company says. :-)

In my really sensitive days (10 years ago), I found that the whole house

felt different by having 3 of these plugged in at the high-EMF areas

of the house (e.g. by the computers, by the TV, and by the space heater).

I tried getting 3 of them but the cheap plastic in the strip outgassed and made

me a little sick, so i returned them and just got the one 3 plug.

I've been moving it around to see where it helps the most-it didnt help in my

bedroom, it helped by the TV a little but helps most by the fridge

So it's the 8-outlet version that smells of chemicals, but the 3-outlet

version does not? You could just use multiple 3-outlet ones then.

When I bought these (8-10 years ago), none of them smelled of chemicals

(they were all based on Power Sentry models back then).

Yes, the strip smelled bad. I could use more of the 3 outlet ones but when I

tried one in my room I didn't like it-for some reason was more agitated although

it could have been a coincidence

With the Quantum 3-outlet plug-in, I have experience " hyper-ness " and

an inability to fall asleep when it is plugged into a power outlet

in my bedroom. However, I also feel bad without it plugged in due

to the space heater. So my solution to this was to put it on a

timer -- I have it automatically turn on and off about every

20 minutes throughout the night. The result -- less feeling bad

from the space heater, plus I can fall asleep.

is my main problem right now. i call quantum to see if the quantum home helps

with them but haven't received a reply yet.

I would prefer not using a timer since I think i would react to it coming on and

The only reaction I have to the timer is the noise it makes when things

I've never noticed the Earthcalm plug-in causing the " hyper-ness " that

the Quantum Products can. It has it's own unique side effects... :-)

Of the Earthcalms?

In our experience, I've noticed bad side effects from me,

my wife, AND our cats (!). Typically they are things

like nausea, headaches, " feeling bad " , etc. Typical

" detox " side effects.

Solution? Use it less.

I just got the pocket polarizer. Which side is supposed to face your skin if its

in my pocket-the copper color side or black? Is it OK to just stick it in my

pocket like that?

In the past, the advise has typically been:

1) put on left side of body

2) have the " front " (is there a design on it? that's the front) facing

away from the body

I'm not sure that I've ever noticed any difference doing it the above

way or not! I just put them in a pants pocket.
