Guest guest
From my study of the celphone coverage maps, I don't see Amish country being any different. Only out west are there gaps in coverage (in the usa). Loni wrote: > Ya I thought about becoming Amish too. Use no electricity! I like tv & computer too much so I guess it won't work. Darn! Guest guest
Well maybe the have cell antennas but they don't use electricity & the burden would be way diminished living in an Amish area. Loni > Ya I thought about becoming Amish too. Guest guest
Unfortunately some of those groups have caved too. I've seen them occassionally in the store with cellphone in hand. But still, it would be less of that stuff near them I'd think, if there was no tower in the near vicinity. I was surprised a few years ago when I learned they - at least some, went to propane heat instead of wood exclusively. ~ Snoshoe > > Ya I thought about becoming Amish too. Use no electricity! Guest guest
Hi ,  Even the Amish are irradiated here! While I have no first hand knowledge that this is true, I have been told by a building biologist that some of the Amish rent their land to phone companies for cell tower sites! Rather ironic, don't you think?  Diane From: lindameetoo <lindameetoo@...> Subject: Re: smart meter Date: Friday, December 3, 2010, 8:14 PM  I'm trying to sell this house. Guest guest
Maybe they are not touching the (unclean thing), but it is touching them. That is so ironic. Greed for the Almighty buck is killing this world and most don't even realize it. I have been supercharged all day. I don't know how long this body of mind can take this. I haven't felt normal (good) in a while. I had 3 or 4 days the summer before last that I felt good. This SUCKS! Every where I go now makes me sick. The places where I am looking to move have 4 cell towers around the property rater than 79. 7 antenna rater than 218. Guest guest
Hi, ,  I hope you can find a good home with a healing environment, Dear. I hate to dash your hopes in the house you have looked into, but if there are 4 towers in each direction from that house, it might do more damage than more towers coming from one direction. (You might be caught in the cross fire.) Here, when I go thru the middle of an area with 3+ towers, it magnifies the emfs alot. It also makes it much more difficult to shield from.  Hope you have time to consider other options, Diane From: lindameetoo <lindameetoo@...> Subject: Re: smart meter Date: Friday, December 10, 2010, 6:49 PM  I have had a few people look. Guest guest
Hi all, Has anybody been able to Hear what the smart meters are broadcasting? The only video on Youtube I can find is measuring with the Gigahertz Solutions HF-35C, which in my opinion is not very useful, as it sounds like someone revving an engine, vrooom, vroooom... and not true analysis of the signals. I can't understand what is so different about the smart meters making people become hypersensitive so quickly, as " everybody " has already been exposing their bodies with celphones, wifi, and wii, so what is so different this time? So has anybody in California or Ontario recorded the audio from an Acoustimeter or MW1 ? Thanks

Perhaps because it's inline with the electricity going into the house? And this added dirty electricity is going into every house in the neighborhood? Guest guest
Hi Everyone: Here is a link to a doc. that may be helpful in determining the amount of EMF given off by Smart Meters in your areas. http://www.sdge.com/documents/smartmeter/RF_Exposure_Levels_from_Smart_Meters_EP\ RI_11-17-2010.pdf I hope this doc will help answer some of the questions the group has. I to have electrical sensitivities along with food and chemical sensitivity issues. My electrical sensitivities appear to be different from those described by the group. I am sensitive to radiation that produced by a direct current power source that is + ( positive ) charged. I appear to have no problem with any DC source that is - (negative) charged. I would like to hear from members of the group that may have similar sensitivities.
Guest guest
Well I don't know about wifi because i don't have it, however, I could be reacting to my neighbor's. Guest guest
I just had the EMF guys from the smart meter department come to my house to do reading. Everything is below normal. The EMF reading of my house was way lower than the last reading I had done a few years ago. I guess I need to check myself in to a facility, for wacko's, because My house is the safest place on the planet according to them. I don't think the (my meter reader is bigger than yours), was measuring correctly. I told them I didn't think they were measuring the thing, that is making me so sick,or maybe it's a combination of things. I was very disappointed. I got really disoriented and nauseated while they were having a signal sent to test the meter, about a dozen times. I am really bummed. I wanted some kind of proof that I wasn't wacko. Boo Hoo. Were you able to obtain a copy of the readings taken at your home by the Smart Meter Technician. What type of instrument and procedure did he use to obtain the readings. Guest guest
Hi They had this big Yellow meter with a big arm in the middle. They could read how much cell, wifi, emf, and ambient ??? that was in my house. There was a quarter inch to half inch spike on the read out that they said was a baby monitor or something. We don't have any babies in my neighborhood that I know of. I feel bad for the baby if They could pick up a reading from it this far away. Mostly they were measuring the 900 mhz frequency. The EMF meter was a hand held device, Digital that read something? I didn't see what he was measuring. I just know that the readings were really low. I had a measuring device last year, The reading were 2.5 in the house and 9.2 in the yard under the power lines and by the transformer. He said they were really low now. I didn't see what the reading were, on the EMF just what he wrote down. I wasn't with him when he took the measurements. I do have a copy of the reading that they took. > > Hi: Here are some thoughts from an Old Electrician. > Were you able to obtain a copy of the readings taken at your home by the Smart Meter Technician. > What type of instrument and procedure did he use to obtain the readings. > > >
Guest guest
Well first mistake was expecting that the utility do the testing. Second we are much more sensitive than any testing equipment. Before the smart meters my readings were not too bad after installing the window sheilding but I am still being fried.  Don't trust the testing so much. Loni From: lindameetoo <lindameetoo@...> Subject: smart meter Date: Tuesday, January 18, 2011, 2:37 PM  I just had the EMF guys from the smart meter department come to my house to do reading. Guest guest
The big yellow meter thingy, measured ambient measurements of ?????. One of the higher spikes on the meter, they said was probably a baby monitor or a Surveillance system. I know that baby monitors are bad for us and for babies. I hope that she stops using it. I complained to the electric company about the smart meter making me more sick than I already am. They just came out to tell me I was wacko and my home was perfectly safe. They left a 10 year old research booklet on how safe it was and one on EMF and the reading from the Big yellow meter thingy. I have to be goofy or I would go wacko. They were really nice, but wrong. I went back and read what I wrote just now. My mind does not flow smoothly. I hope you can get the jest of what I was trying to say. Guest guest
Right now I am surrounded on all sides with cell towers and antennas. In the high desert, the towers and antennas are on two sides rather than all around. They are further away then the closest one's where I live now. Most places I looked so far, there are 7 or less towers and 44 or less antennas. Right now I have 79 towers and 220 antennas, a transformer and power lines in my back yard. The high desert seems to be my best option right now. My husband can commute and keep his job. It's about an hour from where I am now. > > > > > > > > > From: Marc <marc@> > > > Subject: Re: Re: smart meter > > > > > > Date: Thursday, December 2, 2010, 12:54 PM > > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > > Where do you live?
