Guest guest
My name is Judi kson, and my husband and I currently reside in Portland, ME. He sent me the article from the Washington Post, as conscious eating is something he has been doing for a few years, and that I have undertaken as a lifestyle change over the past 10 months or so. Prior to our partnership (a little under a year ago), I was resident in Montreal, Canada and a victim of the city's wonderful restaurants, a stressful work environment, and little time to eat properly (or to literally prepare meals). The posts I have read to-date permit me to think that we are thinking and doing CR/ON; I will enjoy getting " caught up " on past posts as well as studying the information in the Files section of this group. We are convinced that our eating habits give us more energy (we flag when we eat " normal " - which results in zero energy and body signals that we've been " bad " ), and that we are younger than many people our age. We are also about to become " live aboard " sailors, and feel that our eating choices will be easier to maintain when away from a fridge, freezer, microwave, and other modern conveniences. I'll look forward to learning more, and would certainly enjoy hearing from anyone who could suggest ideas on how to ensure that we can remain CRONies....even when untied from land.
