Guest guest
Hi folks: Many thanks to 264 for the PDF of the Health magazine article. The MAGAZINE article states that: " In a series of studies published over the past year, he (Mattson) and his colleagues have found that intermittent fasting - eating freely one day and going without food the next - offers even greater benefits than drastically cutting back on calories every day " . That seems pretty unequivocal. But they do not provide any form of citation to help locate the JOURNAL article so that a reader can check. GRRRRRRRRR! Now the only question is whether the scientific journal article on which the magazine apparently based its piece, really demonstrates what the magazine claims it does. The magazine article does elaborate with some details, but they are not, I think, the kind of details that would persuade most of us here that fasting is preferable. If I can find out more I will post what I find. Rodney.
