Magnetic goes thru everything.

RF goes thru most windows but not Low-E glass, not aluminum screens.

Stucco, adobe, stone and brick walls will block a lot, as will aluminum

siding.

Hand plastered walls may have metal mesh under the plaster

that will block RF.

Does anyone know if RFs and magnetics fields come through certain substances

moreso than others in a house? Windows more than walls?

Wood or vinyl siding more than brick, or vice versa, etc etc?

Thank you!

The only thing I'm aware of that magnetic fields don't go through is

MuMetal, a specialized metal designed to block magnetic fields (someone

correct me if there's some thick, heavy material other than that which'll

attenuate magnetic fields).

The best thing to do for magnetic fields, if you can't stop them at the

source, is increase your distance from them.

Wireless RF is, as mentioned in the other messages, blocked by most metallic

substances, to varying degrees, and can be kept out with certain carbon

fabrics, carbon paints and metal-based paints.

Take care,

R.
