Guest guest
Hi Marc, Yeah, I was using the Quantum Companion for driving, but it only worked when I was in the city. On local roads I am going past towers every 2 to 10 miles, but it was a pain to turn on and off for that. I could have kept it for when I go to the city, but I am good with that now, due to supplements I take, and the money was needed elsewhere.  True, I cannot dawdle while I am there usually (if I do, I pay the next day), but I can easily spend 6 to 8 hours there now without a setback. I was looking for something which would provide protection for going in and out of emfs, which I still notice. I am usually not bad with it, now, but I just didn't want the distraction. It was interesting, lately I got to go on a road trip (the first real one since I got bad in 2006) to Green Bank, W. Va, and thru the mountains over to the Virginia coast, up to Ocean City, land and over to polis and back home. I was the very worst the entire trip going thru W. Va of all places!!! I didn't expect that. We passed 5 areas with towers which bothered me. My memory is a bit fuzzy on where but 2 or 3 of them affected my breathing and 2 or 3 or them affected my stomach! I had never had gut pain from cell or microwave towers before. The two which caused gut pain also gave me a migraine which didn't go away till we were in the mountains of Virginia. Those 2 towers, if I am not mistaken, were outside Elkins, W Va, and Green Bank is only an hour or so away from Elkins. So I didn't feel well when I got to Green Bank, and didn't improve at all while there. (We only stayed 2 hours.) It was impossible to tell whether it was any better there for me or not! lol There were no bars on my husband's phone tho. We plan to go back sometime and try to avoid the hot spots. (I will check on antennasearch before going.) But more interesting than all that was how well I did the rest of the trip after getting into the mountain pass to Virginia! It was like heaven! We loved it--very beautiful country too. I did what I thought was quite well the entire rest of the trip even tho we spent time around Richmond (the by-pass area on the interstate caused me a little anxiety), the Norfolk area (some of it was not comfy--gave me a bit of anxiety), and Virginia Beach--it was great. We checked out all of the Va Eastern Shore area--went to all the little beaches/ bays/ towns there and they were fine; Chincoteaque and Assateaque caused no problems for me; Ocean City was a crowd of people and I was great there. We then went past polis (we were running out of time or we would have toured there) and I had no problems there or outside of Baltimore. And the trip back I slept almost the whole way.  So, there is hope, Everybody! As wired as these places were, I did very well and I didn't even take my supplements the entire trip! (I intentionally tried to get by without them.) It did seem to me that Virginia, in particular, was very well wired. I mean there was a lot going on, but it seemed they took measures to do something which made it more tolerable. I passed towers there that I didn't even feel. land was very well wired too. Pa not so much--I have lots of problems in Pa in particular places, and W. Va came in last in emf tolerance. Yes, I am much recovered, and I still react some. I just thought some here would be interested in my observations, since I went thru 4 States and noticed obvious differences in tolerance in each. Diane > I didn't find the Q Companion helpful, due to the way I travel-- > few emfs in most places (rural/forested areas) and lots of emfs > for small stretches of road. The Q Companion will help more > if you are in a high emf area everywhere you go. Ahh, well I mostly depend on my Quantum Companion at work, where the EMF level is high everywhere, for 8 hours a day. And if I go somewhere where the EMF level is low, I can simply switch the Quantum Companion off. Marc
