Fortunately or unfortunately, Mac has the best tasting fries there is. Not to defend mac, but other fast food places have even worse stuff. At least mac publishes the content on the web. We don't have to eat the double big mac. We stop there almost every time we're on the road because there are so many and they have nice toilets. I get coffee, sometimes we have a Caesar salad, cut the mayo.

There are several "high class' restaurants that serve equally bad food. It comes out of a prepared pkg and heated. I get a lot more disturbed when the menu says fish and it's precooked, premarinated in some goo, they call sauce, and then add more sauce as well. AND charge a much higher price than a mac fish sandwich which I think you'll find is not all that bad. They (Mac) have grilled chicken which is actually cooked at that location. And salads too. It's the user that eats too much.

We hardly ever get a malt because there's no such thing as a malt or shake anymore.
