Guest guest
Not really, just a blurb that didn't mention anything. I just sent them an email, I'll let you know what they say. > > I thought all of the outlets were filtered... did it come with instructions? > > Marc > > > I just received the 8 outlet digital model. Guest guest
It doesn't look that way to me, there is a slit between the lines with different wording that looks like it pertains to each 2 outlet portion. However, lets see what the email reply is. You may be right because why would the other 4 outlets not be filtered? > > > Not really, just a blurb that didn't mention anything. Guest guest
Sorry, Marc, you are correct. I found more info at their website: http://www.furmansound.com/product.php?div=02 & id=PST-8D Now, which gets plugged into the 4 digital outlets? DVD Player, CD Player sure but what about a VCR and TV? > > > > > Not really, just a blurb that didn't mention anything. Guest guest
I've got a CRT TV still, so analogue it is. I will remove the VCR and TV from the digital outlets and plug them in the regular ones. Thanks, Steve > > > Now, which gets plugged into the 4 digital outlets? Guest guest
Yes, that is how they describe them > > > > > > > Now, which gets plugged into the 4 digital outlets? Guest guest
I tested the Furman with my Entech Meter and it did test better than the Brickwall. .3 vs .9 for the brickwall. The TV looks a little sharper and the audio seems improved, however I am still getting static on my TV when my neighbor uses her treadmill. I don't get it, why is this happening even with this expensive product? > > > > > > > > > Now, which gets plugged into the 4 digital outlets? Guest guest
That could be. Do you use the cable connecor on the Furman to run to your TV? I have always found that using this on surge protectors diminished the signal. I wonder if it would help in this situation though? > > > I tested the Furman with my Entech Meter and it did test better than the > > Brickwall. .3 vs .9 for the brickwall. Guest guest
Interesting. I'm kind of surprised that Furman didn't include a coax cable and tel line for those outlets for the money it costs. > > > That could be.
