Re: Getting interviewed about Smart Meters Wednesday

It's pretty unpredictable how the sound bites will come out.

When I was interviewed they only used stuff I said when I

talking casually with the crew...

BTW, I just realized that since a lot of these smart meters are mesh

networks, they may only send 4 times a day, but the receiver is probably

always on. With a receiver you (almost always) have a

local oscillator which causes (unwanted) emissions (which is why

the FAA won't let you use an FM radio on an airplane... the

frequency is too close to aircraft band.

Plus if the receiver is always on, it's always needing juice from the

switch mode power supply, and that puts unwanted RF onto the power lines.

Can we clarify the emission output ie how many times a day - 4 is a lot

less than every 25 seconds that i heard elsewhere ?

All radio-broadcasting utility meters are not Smart Meters, per se. So be sure

which yours is in order to speak about it accurately. They don't all broadcast

at the same frequency, either.

There is a broad range of difference in how freuently lthe meters of different

companies broadcast. In our area, the electric company meters broadcast every 6

seconds. In areas where the meters are piggy backed, the broadcast is

essentially continual. (Each meter picks up and rebroadcasts the signal from

others near it, so that the signal from meters furthest from the company's pick

-p location reach it.)

Yes I had constant reactions going on when mine was installed so they are making

it seem that it only would be an issue a couple times a day which is bull.

The CCST report says the PG & E plan is four times per day initially,

with the assumption that it will be increased later.

But it's not been confirmed to my knowledge if that's what the

meters they are putting in actually do.

Good info, thanks. Plus the signals are bouncing from meter to meter, they

piggyback the signals along the way from house to house so their measurements of

output are bogus.

I was first told 1 time/day than 4 times/day, then they wouldn't tell me and

wouldn't tell me what times of the day it pulses.

Also, do they all pulse at the same time? does each one pulse at different

times, which means since they piggyback to each other we are being bombarded all

day long? I believe thats the answer, therefore the every 25 seconds that you

heard.

Hey folks, may I suggest something? Many of you add noteworthy comments

regarding your experience... " where I live " or " in my area " you tell what is

going on.

Would you mind please saying instead, " in San Diego " or " upper N.Y. " or

whatever... wherever you live... tell us what city and if possible what electric

company is installing the smart meters that are bothering you.

That way, those of us who live nearby can benefit directly, and perhaps add

support to any protests, or commentary to the press or other authorities.

Whoever is being interviewed by the press at his home, might it help to have

other witnesses milling around the property to add to the testimony that the

meters are affecting their health? If this would be desirable it could be

accomplished.

Just identify where you are when commenting, please.

It seems to give off a reading continously, as it would if used near a fridge or

microwave

I'm in California about 50 miles from LA. The electric company is Southern

California Edison. The EMF department took readings last week. My home is the

safest place to live on the planet. NOT!!!

I don't believe they measured what is causing the buzzing, nausea, or headaches

(pressure). What ever they measured it was low. But when I'm by the meter I

can't stand it. I had to go back in the house when they had the signal sent from

the home office, so they could measure the signal. It was so strong (just being

by the meter). It's also bad in the house, but not as bad. It's either bad or

worse. Never good anymore. :( I also think I have some geothermic thing going on

under my house. I have all the stray cats in the neighborhood in my yard at

night. Weird.

When I first moved in this house it was infested with ants. I was told that that

the ants were here because the house was tented for termites before we moved in.

I put corn meal all around and the ants have gone to the yard. When ever I plant

vegetables I have an ant problem and aphids. I put the corn meal around the

plants and the ants did go away. I have really weird mushrooms growing in my

yard too. I read somewhere that mushroom grow in geo pathic stress zones too. I

haven't seen any ghosts, but I can almost make out words of people talking at

night when it's really quiet. It's more of a mumble.

Our last place was a rental. It had ants coming out of the electric sockets. I

have never seen that & thought it was weird. We kept going after them but wanted

to avoid  chemicals.

That house also had water damage from a roof that leaked. They painted over it &

it leaked again. We found out later it had defective wood siding. Maybe the wood

was drawing them.

Forgive me if you're not religious. To be on the safe side,  I would have a

priest or pastor visit to pray, for lost soles to leave.
