I have been spraying it on everything! It's wonderful..nothing in it as far as fats, carbs, calories. Look at the ingrediaents - it is made from buttermilk. the " spraying " action spreads out a small quantity over a large area - whoch is why is has *no* calories, etc. (Same principle as the non- stick cooking spray - which is actually nothing but oil sprayed in a very fine mist.) So - do not use gallons of this stuff, but the standard serving size is fine. > Also, where can you buy Udo's oil on the internet? We are in Iceland on a very remote base (my hubs is in the Navy)no chance of finding it here...Thanks Kim ** re: udo's - never used the stuff. I don;t understand the fascination with it. If you are looking to get your EFA's, a tablespoon of natural peanut butter will do the trick (and will taste a LOT better!) Jill
Guest guest
Udo's is a balance of Omega3 and Omega6 fatty acids. Peanut butter is a source of Omega3, but NOT Omega6. There should be a balance of 2:1 for 3:6 Omegas...Peanut butter will simply not get you there. Guest guest
I thot I really found something when I started using " I can't believe it's not butter " in a spray. In the nutritional section it says 0 Calories and 0 fat. I became suspect and called the manufacturer. Turns out it has the following per tablespoon: 5.8 gm fat, and 52 Calories, 15% of the fat is saturated, 54% mono and 31% poly. They are getting around the labeling by having a serving size of 5 sprays which isn't enough to wet a small cracker.

If a serving size if under .5 grams, they can list all the numbers as " 0 " . Its the same trick the spray cans of oil use. They all list " 0 " on their labels for all numbers, yet most of them are pure oil.
