Well, I do stretch. I can get pretty close, but not quite, to doing the

splits (side splits, the normal ones), and I do the bridge most days, and

hold it

for a minute or a minute and a half.

Hi all - I have been looking into CR for a couple of years. At

present I am a female 5'6, 120 pounds. I have been looking into CR

for several years but haven't jumped into it because my natural

eating pattern is already lower in calories than most. I think all

my life I have practiced a little bit of CR without realizing it. I

have always skipped breakfasts, eaten a light lunch, and a large

dinner. That's why about a month ago I started doing the " Warrior

Diet " -- basically water fasting during the day and eating 1200

calories or so at the evening meal. I've never felt better. I have

all kinds of energy, I'm exercising much more than I ever have with

better results, and people have actually commented on how good I

look! The reason I started doing the Warrior Diet (actually a

modified version) is because of the recent studies that showed

intermittent fasting in rodents had serious aging and cancer-fighting

benefits. I really do believe that calorie restriction and/or

intermittent fasting is the secret to healty longevity. Plus, I'm

Italian, so I believe red wine, espresso, and the occasional plate of

pasta contribute to well-being as well!

I'd like to participate in this forum. I've been reading a lot of

the older posts and have learned a lot. This is a great place to

find scientific studies. I have Dr. Walford's books and am finding

my own CRON-Warrior-style way in the world. Other info: I'm a lacto-

ovo-vegetarian but I supplement with fish oil. Ever since adding the

fish oil to my diet and going " warrior " I have seen my gray hair

reverse. I actually have hairs on my head that are gray at the tips

and black at the roots. I have premature gray at 30... I guess it

was some kind of deficiency.

Anyway, glad to be here and look forward to learning from all of you!

Several of us have started to reverse gray hair by improving

our nutrition with CR diet. And some of us have quit losing

our hair too.

Congratulations on your " warrior " diet. It seems like a

natural to eat only once a day, once you become accustomed to it.

It is just plain easy, saves time, and makes life so simple.
