Guest guest
Here's a new tip that has worked for me: I notice that there are certain times during the day when I'm hungry: 1. mid-morning, no matter what/how much I eat for breakfast 2. mid pm 3. after dinner (as are most of us when we get the munchies) I've solved the evening hunger by reserving my fruit salad/yogurt for around 9pm. In the mid pm, I have a snack and a few nuts, sometimes an oyster etc . I also drink a lot of sucralose sweetened tea. The tip is for the mid morning hunger. No matter how much or what I eat for breakfast, I'm always hungry at 10:30/11:00am. So rather than eat before then, I try to wait til then to eat breakfast. Sometimes I skip breakfast and just have an early lunch. My rationale is that I may as well not eat a lot in the morning because it doesn't work anyway. With this " reverse logic " I probably save a couple of hundered calories a day. I tolerate the hunger at that time of day because I tell myself that soon it'll be time for lunch and I can wait the hour or so to eat. Now that I've explained the tip, let me say, it doesn't always work. But whenever it does, I enjoy the fact that I've " saved " some calories.
