Guest guest
It turns out Edison Electric is bringing wireless meters to Los Angeles County, and will activate them in two months. At this point, the best option is to get a county ordinance banning the meters (or postponing them until more studies can be done.) Does anyone live in LA county? Would you be willing to write letters or email you friends about this? or get petition signatures from people you know? Thanks, p.s. you can email me off list if you like. Guest guest
aw, come on! I had big plans to be a star and move to Hollywood! XD Wish I could help ya but I really don't know anyone there on a speaking basis. I wonder...nah, Sypher Productions probably doesn't have enough serious clout. Don't even know this exists. What we really need is to find celebrities with this problem and have them scream loud enough that it gets press. Where in L.A. are you? Just curious. Geez, if I were you I'd be petitioning on the fricken street! Good luck. I'll keep brainstorming. -April ________________________________ From: lauradorala <lepidoptera17@...> Sent: Tue, June 7, 2011 7:46:27 AM Subject: smart meters coming to Los Angles county -- need help! Guest guest
Get on the phone with the utility. Ask if there is an alternative like I have. Guest guest
Talk to your local Office of the Public Advocate. They HAVE to listen to you & consider your complaints. If anyone in CA has already filed a docket w/ the CPUC regarding the health fx of Smart Meters, ask to petition as an intervenor on that docket so your voice gets added to it. & tell EVERYONE YOU KNOW (in your area) that a single Smart Meter is 100x the power of a cell phone. Send people to the link:http://stopsmartmeters.org/2011/04/20/daniel-hirsch-on-ccsts-fuzzy-math/whe\ re a nuclear scientist explains, in layman's terms, how a Smart Meter is 100x worse than a cell phone.
