They add coconut oil to formula they give premature babies. So yes it is safe.

Are you breast feeding? If yoou are the best way to get it to the baby is to

supplement your own diet with the coconut oil.

Coconut oil is just a food and will do no harm since few are allergic to

coconut oil.

there may be looser BMs as the child gets used to coconut oil.

I would try puting little pieces of coconut oil (if in a cold climate) into

the babies mouth and let the baby suck on your finger.Infant start out slow 1/4

t at most the first day -not all at once, and work up gradually. 1 t a day

should be more than enough.

Is the baby sick?

Yes. You may mix it with her milk formula. Very good also for diaper rashes.

Thanks for the info ... no, my wife is not breast feeding our baby ... and my

baby is ok (thanks GOD). I just wondering whether VCO can be used for a baby

since I read the arcticle about the VCO seems a very good for the heath ..
