in a bath, which is easy to do. Also somewhere in his many

articles, there is information of taking Baking Soda with a glass

of water. (starting with low doses for very sensitive people,

1/8 of a teaspoon in 5 oz of filtered water, and gradually

increasing the dose of Baking Soda)

The pH level of our internal fluids affects every cell in our body.

Chronic over-acidity corrodes body tissue, and if left unchecked

will interrupt all cellular activities and functions. In other words,

over-acidity interferes with life itself. It is at the root of cancer.

Well I am delighted every time I see anything from Vernon who managed to

get his urinary pH up to 8.5 for five days and then within two weeks was back at

his oncologist’s office for a test, which showed his bones being cleared of his

cancer.

“Cancer tried to kill me. After a struggle or two... or three... or four... or

more, I said, “No!” Or at least I was hoping for a “No.” I turned to Cesium, but

ended up with Baking Soda. My goal was to change my pH quickly. I knew little or

Vernon is alive and well and that is all that really matters. He is a cancer

survivor and did not spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to become one.

pH Medicine

Everyone should buy some pH strips and become familiar with the invisible pH

side of their lives and they should not wait until they get cancer to do so. The

time to start treating cancer the natural way begins right now, not after one

has allowed oncologists to poison them with chemo and radiation therapies and

then one has to struggle against their deadly toxic effects.

Our body’s pH controls the activity of every metabolic function happening in our

body. pH is behind the body’s electrical system and intracellular activity as

well as the way our bodies utilize enzymes, minerals, and vitamins.

I wrote in my Sodium Bicarbonate book Rich Man’s Poor Man’s Cancer Treatment

that sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is the time honored method to “speed up”

the return of the body’s bicarbonate levels to normal. Sodium bicarbonate

happens to be one of our most useful medicines treating as it does the basic

acid-alkaline axis of human physiology. Sodium bicarbonate is a

“nothing-to-lose-everything-to-gain” treatment for cancer as well as the general

acid conditions behind a host of modern diseases.

Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) lives up to the image on the Arm & Hammer’s

box, it is the ultimate heavy weight workhorse medicine that every healthcare

professional and parent should be knowledgeable about and be using routinely.

Cancer cells have a lower pH than surrounding tissues.

Oncologists do understand that bicarbonate is necessary to protect their

patients from the toxicity and harm done by highly toxic chemicals used in

chemotherapy. They also know it is of extraordinary help to patients receiving

radiation treatments as it protects the kidneys and other tissues of the body

from radioactive damages. So does cannabinoids.

Oral NaHCO3 selectively increased the pH of tumors and reduced the formation of

spontaneous metastases in mouse models of metastatic breast cancer. NaHCO3

therapy also reduced the rate of lymph node involvement and significantly

reduced the formation of hepatic metastases. Acid pH was shown to increase the

release of active cathepsin B, an important matrix-remodeling protease.

There has been work going on at the University of Arizona using bicarbonate

(baking soda) as a potential treatment for cancer. J. Gillies and his

colleagues have demonstrated that pre-treatment of mice with sodium bicarbonate

results in the alkalinization of the area around tumors (Raghunand 2003). This

type of treatment has been found to “enhance the anti-tumor activity” of other

anticancer drugs. This is very similar to the recently published research

involving injecting O2 directly into tumors and showing such direct

administration of oxygen also facilitated the action of chemotherapy.

This year these same researchers reported that bicarbonate increases tumor pH

(i.e., makes it more alkaline) and also inhibits spontaneous metastases (Robey

2009). They showed that oral sodium bicarbonate increased the pH of tumors and

also reduced the formation of spontaneous metastases in mice with breast cancer.

It also reduced the rate of lymph node involvement.

Utilizing sodium bicarbonate when dealing with cancer does not depend on the

Simoncini theory that cancer is a fungus but it sure helps to understand how

fungus infections are commonly involved with cancer. I really do not think

Simoncini means that cancer is caused by a fungus. What he is really saying is

that it is a fungus or it is accompanied by fungus and yeast.

It really does not matter what we believe, certain substances like sodium

bicarbonate have a strong and undeniable effect on human physiology that does

not depend on our belief systems. There is nothing psychosomatic about

bicarbonate; it does not qualify as a placebo and only fools refuse to recognize

its importance in general medicine, pediatrics and oncology. There is also

potassium bicarbonate, also used as a nutritional medicine and magnesium

bicarbonate in the oceans but not available anywhere in solid crystal form. Some

of the best products have these minerals with calcium added.

Special Note: In Sodium Bicarbonate – Rich Man’s Poor Man’s Cancer Treatment, it

is stressed that baking soda should not be considered a standalone cancer

treatment. It should be used in conjunction with a full protocol.

Soon I will be publishing a video book and a chapter laying out my entire

protocol that I teach people how to use in my consultations. The practical hands

on information is simple enough to teach in an hour and that is in great part

why it offers a revolution in health and medical care.

Though one cannot teach a person about Chinese medicine without a strong

commitment to learn it, one can teach a nurse in an hour or two how to use

acupuncture needles, especially that Japanese type which uses insertion tubes.

The needling part is astonishingly easy though understanding what one is doing

is something else.

I have written many books on medicine and will soon come out with the second

edition of my cancer book, which is now four years old.

In the case of my Natural Allopathic Medicine protocol lay people, without any

medical training, can learn how to treat themselves. It is actually very easy to

practice emergency room medicine at home using oral and transdermal means

instead of injections and IVs. One can also do chemotherapy at home without an

oncologist as long as its natural chemo. Most cancer doctors only like to play

with poison and I have a lot to say about that in a coming essay about “hot

chemotherapy baths” the fast rising and scientifically unproven “fad” in cancer

treatments.

Healthcare practitioners and physicians will gain a new respect when they

themselves know, practice and teach people what they can do for themselves at

home both before they come to our offices and clinics and certainly when they

leave and go back home. We need to empower people to be healthy and take part in

recovering from the diseases they fall victim to.
