Guest guest
Hello All, I would like to try one of these phones. Hope I can find them in the states. I googled but kept coming up with Singapore addresses. I'm sure there's a place in the states. Can anyone help? Also, there are many models. Which specifically is the best one for electrical sensitivity. I need one with two hand sets. Thanks in advance. Estelle
Guest guest
PUK REPLIES - sad to say they simply are no good whatsoever to Essers, only corded speaker phone is the most benign and even then you should keep your distance, obviously telphone lines use 50 or so volts to power the system and so on...If you must use a dect then get one that has a speakerphone facility In a message dated 08/04/2011 03:27:20 GMT Daylight Time, e4health@... writes: Hello All, I would like to try one of these phones. Guest guest
So are you saying that the non dect phones are just as bad in your opinion & stick with my dect that has a speaker phone if I have to have one. Which I do due to family. Guest guest
puk replies - I became apparent to me years ago that for me as an esser evan corded landline phones gave me a stinging sensation to the head and a general nausea, certainly they are not clean from an emf point of veiw - as you can appreciate they are electrically powered and these days evan more so than a number of years ago telephone wires are awash with all manner of signals from broadband, dirty power, fax data and so on - a filter on the line would probably help somewhat, for me I am unable to use a landline with the receiver handset to my ear as I get the latter symptoms - so its speaker phone only. Also the issue I have raised re the Plasma tv contaminating my telephone wires and mains wires means that using the telephone to the head is definitely a no no when the Plasma is on. p In a message dated 08/04/2011 19:20:37 GMT Daylight Time, marc@... writes: > So are you saying that the non dect phones are just as bad in your > opinion I don't think that's true -- didn't we establish that DECT base stations transmit 24/7 regardless of whether someone is using the phone? And that some types of cordless phone base stations do NOT transmit 24/7? I don't really know either way -- all the phones in our house have cords, and nobody in the family sees that as a problem. Guest guest
Yeah, plasma TV is heavy in what some in this forum would refer as " dirty air " , or as someone had called it " mother of all RFI producers " . I finally had it replaced when my radio could detect it in a room far away from the TV room... I knew it was supposedly bad, but didn't realize it was strong after that big of a distance... I think it may be one of the big contributors to ES. > > puk replies - I became apparent to me years ago that for me as an esser > evan corded landline phones gave me a stinging sensation to the head and a > general nausea, certainly they are not clean from an emf point of veiw - as > you can appreciate they are electrically powered and these days evan more so > than a number of years ago telephone wires are awash with all manner of > signals from broadband, dirty power, fax data and so on - a filter on the line > would probably help somewhat, for me I am unable to use a landline with > the receiver handset to my ear as I get the latter symptoms - so its speaker > phone only.
