Guest guest
I am in the process of switching to about 80% vegetable/fruit diet the last month and a half. The good news my acid is reduced, but not gone totally, but this throat and also chest globus sensation is constant. I am hoping somebody can give me insight and hope to make it better. Guest guest
Explain this a little more (globus sensation). I¹m currently having issues and I¹m not sure why. I strongly suspect that I would do better if I had consistently increased water intake however! (during the years that this never plagued me, I had consistent water intake) I do just fine on just fruits and veggies and even raw meats.......unless I¹m already having a problem, I never seem to have a problem in relation to any of those foods.... Chantelle Ps-mine also only stays in check with regular chiropractic adjustments. My dad has HUGE issues with this, not treated medically at all and he just gets adjusted and suffers through. I was able to start getting adjusted in my 20¹s and therefore even went years without the problem. If it starts to come back (I¹m in my 40¹s now), if I get adjusted and treat myself right then it goes away again, usually for years at a time. Guest guest
My family physician feels the globus sensation is due to acid reflux. Since changing my diet to more alkaline foods my acid refllux is much better, but not the feeling of something stuck in my throat. I had a esophogial scan two years ago which showed I have a hiatal hernia and I feel that is what has gotten flared up. I wake up in the mornings and it is gone, after being up for 30 minutes or so, it is back and continues to worsen as the day goes on. Your suggestions and input are most welcome.
