Guest guest
Are they Organic? I have some brownish plack ones, but i bought mine in bulk at the HFS. i soaked and sprouted for 3 days. Once sprouted you can eat them raw or very lightly steam them. Curried Lentil salad is a good way to use any sprouted lentil. Guest guest
What about the package they're in?? If they aren't organic they may not sprout but I would soak them anyway Skip. If they have already been processed then soaking probably won't do them any good.. What the heck did you buy? They are so much better when a little crunchy. But if you are going to cook them, the time will depend on how you cook them. Pressure cooker, open on the stove, crock pot? It all depends. But most likely 1/2 hour minimum or until tender. Course if you soak them first and sprout then maybe 15 minutes or a little less. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
