Guest guest
My daughter's seizure meds actually inhibit glutamine. We avoid soy because it is so high in glutamine (and has no taurine). Soy actually made her seizure activity profoundly worse. I don't see her seizures as being seperate from her autism. They are one in the same. As her seizure activity becomes better, her ASD symptoms improve. So some might think this does not apply to their child who does not have seizures, but the neurotoxicity activity operates the same for many who have never even had a seizure. There are other ways of helping improve leaky gut. > > L-glutamine was recommended for my 3yr old with leaky gut for this > specific purpose.
