HELP Wanted

I have an excellent handful of people who help me run the group. I need

more.

This chore is very minor. Most of the time there's nothing to do. However

once in a great while my power goes out (esp in the summer with the summer

storms), or I go away for a few days.

Even when this happens there's not much to do. The only moderation is of

newbies for a short while (to discourage spammers and other troublemakers)

and a handful of people who have tried to be disruptive in the past. More

than 99 9/10% of all posts just go directly to the board. Recently with the

crush of new people, I could have used more help.

Also if there are any issues about the group on the table to discuss, I

would call upon my other moderators to discuss them and we try to come to a

consensus.

Ideally other moderators should:

1. Have been with us for at least a few months

2. Have the freedom to check in with the group regularly

3. Should understand our philosophy and what we're about.

If you have gained something from being here and enjoy this board, please

volunteer and " give back " something. I need more help especially with the

phenomenal growth of the last few days. I will not need to call upon you

very often, but I need to know there's enough backup in the event of the

very few times when I need it.
